Finding Family Stories encourages self-esteem and communication across generational, cultural or family barriers. Traditional and contemporary storytelling games and guided imagery are utilized to free up the voice and memory, reclaiming lost stories or revisiting oft-remembered ones.

Beginning Storytelling combines aspects of the other workshop with exercises designed to help individual participants find their voice as a teller. Subjects covered include taking stories from the written page, adding participating to stories, telling in tandem, telling our own stories, and more.

Residencies include aspects of the above two workshops and are adapted to the needs of the host school or organization. They culminate in the development of class or school storybooks and/or calendars, or public story-sharing sessions. Curriculum materials available.
